Could this be done in an angel food cake pan? Probably; it's basically a cake. They wouldn't be doughnuts, but would taste good nonetheless. You'd have to increase the baking time - not sure by how much, though. Sorry for all the unknowns, but it's an experiment I haven't tried... PJH
