I am not a very scientific baker , am willing to experiment, and do not own a jelly roll pan. Could you make the recipe as is, but take a few spoonfuls out before putting it in a 9x13 pan to get the right thickness? Approximately how thick is the batter when spread out in the jelly roll pan?
