A must make recipe! I chose to make the softer caramels and sprinkles with salt and they came out very delicious! I'm coworkers raved about them. The boiled cider is a must if you want that apple cider flavor. And it's great on French toast too. As mentioned in the recipe, the salt adds a little crunch and the slight salty taste which pairs perfectly with the sweetness.
