I would like to use these for holiday gifts, but wondered what the shelf life would be. I can't freeze them because I'll be taking the gifts, rather than shipping them, to family when I make a visit early next month. Will these keep for a while just wrapped and stored in an airtight container? And would the caramel sauce need refrigeration?
