Made these this weekend. They are amazing. My first time making caramels. Now I want to make them all the time. Everyone loved the apple flavor, but I want to play with some other flavors . .so I'm thinking of substituting Godiva Chocolate Liqueur for the boiled cider in my next batch. Any thing I need to worry about before I venture down this path . . .There's no reason I can't add alcohol to boiling sugar, right??
