i've been making applesauce for my grandson for a couple a years now and just tried the
boiled cider. it added a great extra punch of apple flavor . good stuff. also i find that if
your willing to boil the applesauce down far enough , there is no need for extra sugar. you
just have to be patient and let it simmer for 3-4 hrs on low .
