Thanks MJ for sharing a family memory and treasure, and of course the update to the recipe......Boiled Cider has been a regular resident of our refrigerator for a couple of years now - MUST HAVE - no substitute! APPLE PIE without it is not 'okay'! And I shout the same accolades for the Vietnamese Cinnamon and Vanilla. We had been invited early next week to dinner with a neighbor who will be fixing a Pork Roast........how perfect to bring this Applesauce! The slo-cooker aspect is also BRILLIANT!
