Hi Vivian! These bars don't hold up as tightly as a store-bought granola bar, but they shouldn't crumble too easily. Try pressing them in the pan more firmly before baking. If you find they are losing their structural integrity when you cut them up, pop them in the freezer to firm them before slicing. I wrapped mine individually in plastic wrap before I took them out hiking and they were a deliciously welcome treat at the top of the mountain. Hope this helps! -Gwen
