This recipe looks like a great starting point. My husband is allergic to flax, so I'll be experimenting to find a good substitute. One other thing: flax seeds have a shelf life. For this reason, buy only what you are going to use in a reasonable time and store in a cool, dry area. Chia seeds can also be used as an egg substitute. They are usually ground first; 1 part ground chia seeds to 3 parts liquid.
