I'm new here and love all the new ideas for baking and new gadgets. I can't say my husband would be,only because he always says if it's new she buys it (me) lol. But I've been making pies for awhile know. Canning and other kitchen stuff mmmmm.
My tip that l learnt from my mother (God rest her soul) I could honestly say that's where I got the bug of baking and cooking and preserves. Which I passed to my two beautiful daughters. When I make apple pies I take the crust off pieces of bread slices and scatter them around the bottom of the bottom pie shell which helps to absorb most of the liquid. Good luck and enjoy.
