So frustrated! Five days ago I made two of the most beautiful loaves of bread. Two days ago I used the remaining 2 packages of yeast to make Swedish coffee braids which I have made in the past with success. They did not rise although I did everything right, in my opinion. Today I made one using another strip of yeast with another date and again, no rise. Weather related? If so, nobody would bake bread in the summer humidity. If tears would help, I would try that!! I'm not a novice baker but this is not good. I'm reading all the posts and I guess I will try again some day. Meanwhile...back to just plain white bread!
