When I bake bread and it does not rise I used to throw it away. I now have learned to put it back in the mixer, mix warm water in yeast, let the yeast rise, add to bread that did not rise good,add flour and mix again. I don't throw it away anymore. I keep it covered with baggies with elastic that I get at Sally's Beauty supply. Large quantities.. Also great for outdoors cooking and eating out side.
