A while back I felt I had to throw out my starter. It had developed an odd orange/pink color at the top. Just a few days ago I got my replacement starter and mixed it up this morning.It's sitting in a bowl on my counter at this moment. I put a note on the neighborhood list serve that I would have some to give away and I have had one taker. I'll be sure to tell her about today's blog and direct her to the how-to and recipes. And in a week or so, I'll be looking back at these suggestions! Carolyn
