We have a freezer full of blueberries from the back yard. Will they work as a substitution for fresh cherries? Felecia: Blueberries would be great, but for this recipe you'll want to do a little finessing. Frozen berries will give up a lot of liquid; get the dough to come together first, then fold in the still-frozen berries at the very end before shaping. Otherwise you'll have some very blue, streaky scones! Susan
