Hi Tania. Because we haven't tested this recipe or seen the cake, we can't say for sure, but it sounds like the recipe has too much liquid in it. We'd recommend trying another recipe or to experiment decreasing the sourdough cream by a few tablespoons at a time. The ingredients make it sound like a pound cake, which you would want to be dense, so it may not be the style of cake you're looking for. Annabelle@KAF
