Hi, Kelly. We're a little stumped about why you would put buttermilk in a pound cake, especially since there's already cream cheese in the recipe for a nice tangy flavor. Since we only have part of the formula from your question, I think the best thing we can do is refer you to a recipe we've had great success with for years. Try our Golden Vanilla Pound Cake.
