Evelyn, a 9" x 4" loaf pan typically holds about 2 lb (907 g) dough or a 4-cup of flour recipe. So the question of if your challah dough will fit into your pan depends on your recipe. You can always make your full recipe then measure out about 2 lbs of dough and if you have any excess make little challah buns using a muffin pan.
