It's peach time in Maryland, and the old timey bakeries are making Baltimore peach cake. There is a sweet yeast dough as the base baked with fresh peaches layered on top, and then glazed with peach or raspberry preserves when it comes from the oven. Seems to be a Baltimore tradition, and only made during peak fresh peach season. Only a few of the old places making it now. Gotta try to make it myself.
