It is great to hear your family loved this recipe, Emily! There is no problem using this recipe for cupcakes, so you are in luck! In fact, most any cake recipe may be used for cupcakes with no changes made other than the bake time. Cupcakes usually bake within 18-20 minutes. Yes, you may use an all-purpose flour in place of the unbleached cake flour blend. The rise will be about the same. The crumb may be a little more coarse (open).
