The Taftsville Bridge you saw pictured above is the refurbished, post Irene version. There was a big party for its reopening last summer, thrown by the local fire department. Simon Pearce is up and running and back in business. If you go downstairs to watch the glass blowers in action they'll tell you how high the water was (almost to the ceiling)! Susan
