This is a great post, and I'm excited to seek out Dede's book you mentioned as I'm one of the crazy brides determined to make her own cake! Curious if you have any thoughts to the technique of making the cakes in layer pans versus making a sheet cake and punching out the layers and then utilizing acetate to form the tiers? Thank you in advance
