Sorry, Julia, the recipe's no longer available; I looked for an older version, and couldn't find it. As I recall, the can of Schmear was mixed with enough cream to make it spreadable, then it was used as both filling and icing. With a bit of simple experimentation, I'd bet you can make it work.
