I started making Artisan style bread last winter. Same ingredients except half the flour is freshly ground whole white wheat. OMgoodness what a tasty loaf it makes. I use a cast iron dutch oven and lid for a dbl batch and for single loaves, which look way better, I have an old " Frienship" pottery casserole with glass lid. They both work perfectly. Go to a second hand store and see what you can find. It needs to withstand the 500 degrees though. :)
