I too grew up near Chicago (Northbrook) and we would go to Barnaby's as well. I remember the top of the pizza often sliding off the crust as you ate it. The restaurant was featured in Ferris Buehler's Day Off. My fondest memories of eating pizza in Chicago was going to Due's, Gino's East, and Chicago Pizza and Oven Grinders. Now that I live in Pittsburgh, I get to bring my family on trips to Chicago and show them my favorite places.
