Oh, Nancy, I'm laughing at how you watched the neighbor's TV - we did too! And I remember when we finally did get a color TV in 1984 (well into adulthood), and how exciting that was. I wonder if the Estes Park pizzeria used more of a Chicago deep-dish style crust; because that includes both cornmeal and butter, so it's a bit crunchy, and a bit more biscuit-like than the typical crust.
