Barbara, that's high praise indeed, coming from an Italian cuisine maven such as yourself – I'm honored! Though perhaps Amy, Betty, and even Gourmet weren't offering quite the "authentic" Italian experience, back in the day. So - did you know Amy was America's etiquette authority?
