My use for parchment is this: for casseroles, especially sticky ones with cheese, just crunch down a sheet, not worrying about how it looks. It isn't pretty but it's easy. When the food is served, the paper is thrown away ... burnt cheese and all. No need to cut the pieces to perfection. Like who cares. I am old now and don't want to have to scrub pans. This is the best tool for a kitchen.
