Hi Steve, I've found the best way to distribute the scone dough into our Mini Scone Pan is to use a silicone spatula and dollop the dough on top of the lightly sprayed pan, and then spread the dough into the wells with the spatula. If need be, you can redistribute a bit of the dough from one well to the next to even things out.
