Scoop your cocoa powder into your measuring cup, Kathy. It'll naturally pack itself in lightly, but you don't need to apply any extra pressure with your hands. For best results, we recommend using a scale to measure your cocoa powder by weight, in which case you'll want to use 85 grams for 1 cup of cocoa powder. We hope this helps and happy baking! Kye@KAF
