I use my microwave as a bread proofing box. Put a cup of very hot water in there alongside the covered loaf of dough. Don't peek until the shortest time. It is generally ready at that point. Doubled and ready for the oven. Be sure to preheat your oven when you begin this second rising. I also put a tin pie pan of hot water in the oven while baking the bread.
