I use a combination of lard, butter, shortening, and margarine to make my pie crust. You get the best of each when you use all of these. I cut in lard and shortening in one half of the flour that consists of all purpose flour, salt, and dry milk. I use pastry flour for the other half and cut in the Margarine and butter. Combine both flours and add ice cold water, mix and roll out. Roll out with as few as strokes as possible. Perfection!
