P.J., thanks for describing details for your chocolate cream pie. My daughter Susan and son-in-law Ron will be coming to visit in August. Ron has only 1 request....that I make his favorite pie for him, i.e. a homemade chocolate cream pie. Your recipe is what I will follow! And, your whip cream recipe and serving suggestion. My first try for making chocolate filling and whip cream. As for crust, everyone agrees that I have a "signature" crust which my mother taught me years ago. It is flaky and yummy.
