I have made this pie twice again in the past two weeks, and I wanted to let you know, I made the crust with this recipe (using frozen shortening, plus 1 tbsp sugar), and it WORKED both times! They weren't the prettiest pie crusts I have ever seen, but they were delicious, and homemade BY ME! =) I would not have been able to do it without the advice I received here. Thank you so much for the help, and confidence boost. I am going to go practice another crust! =) Have a fabulous, blessed day. =)
