My daughter entered me in the Indiana State Fair baking contest. The task is the King Arthur "Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies" I've been baking for 50 yrs and this is my first competition. My family are life long customers, I am a retired health care professional and chemistry major. I can do exacting tasks. I've done the receipt six times to practice.....all the same results...on the dry side and ugly looking.....It seems KA could have chosen something more eye pleasing with all your wonderful dishes! In competitive baking may I tweek the receipt, or at least adorn the crust with Sparking Sugar or Swedish Pearl Sugar without being penalized? Best and Warmest Regards
