I made this recipe over the weekend and, for the most part, it worked great but the loaf didn't raise as much as it should have. Starter#1 and Started#2 worked great. Had a lot of bubbles. I used my bread machine on the dough setting since I don't have a counter top mixer with the dough hooks. I only let the dough mix for about 15 minutes instead of the 1 1/2 hours it takes to make bread machine dough.I had to add some extra flour because it was so sticky to handle. I used a glass bread pan instead of a metal one but I did pre-warm it before putting the dough in it to rise in the warm oven. After 4 hours the dough barely raised and not to the top of the pan. Should I have used a metal pan, should I have left the dough cycle to complete, and was it wrong to add any flour? I baked what I had but it was only about 3 inches high and tasted very good.
