I am so glad there is a recipe out there for this bread. I had no idea it was so difficult to make. I am a novice at all things cooking/baking so I am not sure I can do this. However, the wonderful article brought back sweet memories of growing up in upstate NY (between Binghamton and Syracuse). My Grandma loved it and she would buy it as often as they made it at a local bakery. I live in TN now but have never seen it down here anywhere. Thanks again for sharing the recipe and all the hints.
