This is a strangely addictive substance! Tried the recipe once as a 'what the heck, sounds fun' experiment--- now I crave this stinky bread and keep slices in the freezer. A nice bonus: it's not a 'crumby' bread, so it's a great 'to-go' breakfast in the car on the way to work. I use my yogurt maker as a proofer for the starters, perfect every time. There's a mess of bacteria cooking up right now. Yummmmm.....time to feed the addiction.
