I am thrilled to give this recipe a try. I grew up on Salt Rising and my father had fond memories of his Aunt making it. I have some rising in oven now. Read about a bakery on line in Pa. where you can get a starter from Rising Creek Bakery. I have not tried them yet as I am experimenting on my own, but this might be a source for others.
