Thanks for your eagerness to bake with this mix, Kay! We're happy to offer suggestions based on our collective experience whenever we can, but we only publish tips that we've tested repeatedly in our Test Kitchen, and this is not an adaptation we've put through the ringer here. That being said, if you're comfortable experimenting, we'd suggest starting by substituting peanut butter for 1/2 of the total amount of butter, so that you'd be using 1/4 cup peanut butter and 1/4 cup butter.
