Do you think brown rice syrup would work instead corn syrup? To be honest, I don't have any personal kitchen experience with brown rice syrup. That being said, if you have used it successfully in other recipes calling for corn syrup or honey other than as a simple sweetener, it should work. If you do give it a try, please let us know how it goes. ~ MJ
