Okay! I made them yesterday. All the things I've learned to make since this crazy pandemic. All the things I've learned I never want to buy again. Why would I ever buy a bag of dried egg noodles when it was so fast and easy and frankly not even terribly messy to make my own? I feel like a genius! They were wonderful. Chicken and noodles. I made Béchamel with chicken fat and chicken broth. Emptied a small bag of frozen peas and carrots and a can of chicken breast heated until the frozen vegetables and meat were heated through with some garlic powder and onion powder salt and pepper. At the end I brought some chicken broth up to boil and dropped in my HOME MADE EGG NOODLES. Wow...I did that.
I used the food processor, a rolling pin and a pizza cutter. I stood my cooling racks on their side and hung the noodles to dry. My arm hurts from patting myself on the back!
