Hi Darlene, thanks for reaching out! We haven't measured the specific weights of other brands of flour, but we can help you find out for yourself! If you measure out a cup of our Gluten-Free Measure-for-Measure Flour (it's okay if it's a bit lighter or heavier than what we measured, the important thing is consistency in technique) and then a cup of another brand, are they similar? Or is one notably heavier or lighter than the other? The measurements from the manufacturers aren't particularly magical, they're just the average of a bunch of different bakers of varying skill levels carefully measuring out ingredients with the same tools and techniques. So you can totally replicate this process at home. Happy baking!
