Sorry this recipe didn't meet expectation, Ronald! If the cookies were placed too close together, that could cause them having a harder time browning on the edges. You may want to try a flat cookie sheet with no rimmed edges to provide more airflow around each cookie. Brushing them with a little egg wash or egg white can also help with broning. Happy baking!
