Sorry for any confusion, Cristina! In this case, we're using the term "freeze" in the ice cream maker to mean both churn and freeze. So after thoroughly chilling the ingredients, you'll pour them into your ice cream maker and set it to work (however the manufacturer suggests)! Hope this helps. Mollie@KAF
