I had the exact same result. Is there any way that these suggestions can make their way into the recipes? I find I don't have a lot of time to read through comments, but I've found with the King Arthur site, I have to if I have a recipe fail. I can almost always find the solution to the problem hidden somewhere in the comments. I would rather see the suggestions in the recipe before I make it to increase my chances of success. Perhaps an section entitled "Suggestions"? Thanks.
