I use buttermilk instead of milk. Also add about 1/8 t. Lemon flavoring and about 1/2 t. Cinnamon. My son doesn't like nuts and lots of friends have nut allergies so I use GF oats instead of nuts. I have also done this with apples instead of blueberries. Adding more cinnamon and some nutmeg to batter. This is a requested recipe at our school breakfasts. Thought I had "invented" this until I found your website. Lol
