Hi Monique,

If you don't have any dry milk on hand, or need to be dairy-free,  you can leave the dry milk out altogether and use either water (for a less tender and rich muffin) or liquid milk (dairy or non-dairy)  in the recipe. No need to replace the 1/4 cup dry milk with another dry ingredient you can simply leave it out.
