Hi Donald! What a delicious recipe! Many bakers will choose one of those methods when preparing their baking pans. If you don't have parchment, you can lightly grease the pan before placing the dough in. If, however, you do have parchment, no grease is necessary. You can simply line the pan with the paper before placing the dough in. If the paper is sliding around a bit, you certainly can place a small amount of grease under the parchment to help it stay in place. Happy Baking!
