Just finished making this rye bread and it came out so delicious! I made it exactly according to the recipe, made two smaller loaves, and I couldn't wait for it to cool completely before I sliced off that sample nub! It is every bit as good as I hoped it would be. The only issue that I have with homemade bread is that it gets so dried out after the first day. Is there any way to help it remain moist until you finish the loaf?
