I love rye bread, and this one is really good. However, I made it at least six times, but it does not rise much than at the most 2 inches... I make the dough in my bread machine... and when I take it out, it is close to the lid... Do I leave it too long? I use dark rye flour as well... other than that, it is delicious, and my husband and I eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner... Any idea why it does this? I do everything else as directed in the recipe... I wish I knew why...
